Pearl Harbor

When I got to work this morning I started thinking about the date. Its kind of funny I didn't even have an inkling that something had happened today and then I started thinking. Hey didn't Pearl Harbor get bombed today. So I started looking things up on the internet. I was learning all kinds of new things I didn't know about Pearl Harbor. It makes me really sad. Why did Japan go and fire on us. What was there reason for dragging us into the war. Why did so many people have to die just so we could enter into some conflict. Addmittedly with the United States being the "World Police" that we are we probably would have joined in somehow, but why did Japan see the need to drag us in. I found a website where they have live video of the USS Arizona memorial. You can watch the ferry bringing visitors and other boats going around it. I never realized that over 1000 people were killed on that boat. Its sad that there bodies are still there. I guess thats what I read and understood. If I'm wrong please let me know. I looked at pictures of the various ships and read about them. Its enough to make me cry. Its really incredibly sad.

Humans scare me. The way we can just hurt one another and not even care Its something that sometimes makes me scared to breath. Why can't we all just get along. Later days...
