E-Bay

E-Bay is a veru addicting site. You start off bidding on small things, like a couple of dollars, and you think that you're gonna get a great deal. Then you get hooked and you can't stop. I myself am caught up in this amazing thing. In the past two days alone I have been winning bib after bid on E-bay. So far I've only spent around $70. But thats still a lot. And you know what it has all been on. Friends. Items from Friends. What can I say I love Friends. Apparently I just won the 7th season of Friends. I don't even remember bidding on it really. Its this bad I forget what I'm bidding on. The worst part of it is, I forgot that I had bid on it, and I bid on the exact same item from a different seller. Now, I have the possibility of winning a second 7th season. What do I need with 2 7th seasons. This is pure madness I tell you. I really need to get away from E-Bay.

So Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban comes out next Friday. I am really excited to see it. I went to Barnes and Noble the other day to look and books, and I asked a cashier if they had a release date on the 6th Harry Potter book. You know what she told me? She told me that she didn't even know if there was gonna be another book. Apparently J K Rowling is taking a break. I will be mightly dissapointed if there is no 6th adn 7th books. We have been promised those books and I want to read them. I know she has a little while before they're really needed out. I mean she's done with the fifth book, and they're just barely releasing the 3rd movie. Oh well hopefully it will be out though.

Another movie I am patiently waiting the release of is Bridget Jones Diary: The Edge of Reason. That book was so hilarious, and the first movie was so good that I can only hope that the second will live up to my expecations. Plus it has the hunky Colin Firth in it. Boy I wish I was paid to gain weight. But hell you know what. Why pay her to gain weight. They could just pay me a fraction of her salary and well hey I am on the bigger side, I could be Bridget Jones, and I could be in love with Mark Darcy. How about that ehh. That'd be pretty damn good.

This year I was dissapointed that I never was able to watch American Idol. I work on Tuesdays, and did not see the point in watching the Wednesday show if I could not watch the Tuesday show. I did however see the final episode. I must say I was very dissapointed with it. First of all the two finalists weren't that great. I believe that out of the two of them Diana was the better singer, but whatever. I think the highlight of the show was seeing Clay Aiken in North Carolina. I don't like to watch him sing, but I love to hear him sing. Kelly Clarkson sure has put on the poundage wonder if anyone paid her to do that. I thought her song sucked. Rueben Studdard wasn't that great either, Boy the first season of American Idol was pretty good. The second season might have been a little bit better. The third season why did they even bother to put that crap on TV.

I guess American Idol won't be making its way back to Houston. After the dissapointment of last years visit I wouldn't come back either. Guess I might never audition for American Idol. Oh well, I have to concentrate on college anyway. Besides I still haven't seen any fat girls make it into the to 12. I may be wrong someone correct me if I am.

Whatever I'm done rambling for right now...

Maintenance Men

Well I must say that after moving into this apartment and finding everything broken pretty much I do like the maintenance men around here. Not only did they show up within the hour to fix the things I'd reported but they were very nice, and not bad looking either. I think I will like Raiders Pass Apartments a lot. Well I just won some stuff on Ebay that I probably shouldn't have been bidding on. I won some Friends posters, and a New York Post magazine that has a feature about Friends in it. I think I figured out what I want my room to look like. Its going to be decorated with Friends Memorablia. I'm not sure id thats how you spell memorabila but oh well. i just love Friends and I was very sad to see it go. Oh well now I will be able to look at the posters all I want. Plus I hope to get the entire collection of Friends DVDs. I already seasons 1 and 6. Now I just need the other 8 seasons. Hmm Friends. I love it. Its simlply smashing baby.

Bored

Ok so having an apartment is a nice thing. Part of the reason I moved into a four bedroom apartment was so that I didn't have to be by myself. Well so far no one is ever here. None of the other subleasers have moved in yet. Well I think there might only be one subleaser. SO needless to say I am bored off my ass. I purchased movies recently that I haven't watched so I tried watching some of them but after one or two I lose my concentration for watching movies. So what do I do. Well it looks like it will storm outside so I don't want to go out into the elements. If I had a car this would be an easy solution. But since I don't I'm SOL. Anyways I don't think I want a car right now. Gas is way to expensive. Oh my gosh. When I graduated High School you could still get gas for $.97. Maybe even $.89 during a gas war. Three years changes things though I guess.

So anyways you know whats funny. Even when writing I can't get away from the words "so" and "anyways." I'm stuck on those two words. A few years ago it was the word "like." I can't figure out how to start a sentence without them. It takes me a little bit of thinking to do it. It makes me sound stupid I guess. Anyways thats enough for now, so I will talk with ya laters. Love me.

FRIENDS

So yaay, like yesterday I finally got the settlement money from the car wreck I was in last October. So I tried to take care of as many bills as possible with it, and then I bought myself some things. First of all I bought three new summer outfits. With Daniels help I got some really cute stuff. I've never liked capris but now I own three pairs, and I love them. Today I bought a DVD player which I've been needed, and the 6th season of FRIENDS. I love Friends. I was so sad to see it end. It was the best TV show ever. I really hope the Matt LeBlancs new show Joey goes well. Most spin offs don't do well at all but since Friends was so huge maybe it will. So I've got a question for all of you people. Who is your favorite Friends star? Mine is Matthew Perry. Chandler was just too funny and awesome.

So anyways other than all this fun, I'm still getting used to having my own place. I actually had to stay here all alone last night. I slept on the couch. I don't like having to walk around dark corners to check out a noise. ALright I will write more laters!

Pop Ups

Ok, so in January I purchased a new computer from Dell. For the first month or so it was the greatest thing in the world. I finally had my very own computer. I didn't have to use my roommates or go to the library. It's my own. Then probably two months into ownership the computer starts going completly fricking crazy on me. So annoying. First it got some virus. Then I wound having to spend hours into the night on the phone with Dell representatives to reformat my computer. Two days after I had the whole thing reformatted another virus hits. Followed by two more that week. Now for some reason its just now starting to run ok. The only thing left that ticks me off is the damn pop ups. I can't get rid of them. Just drives me crazy.

New Apartment

Ok, so three days ago I moved into my very first apartment. For my first apartment its pretty spiffy but it has its drawbacks. First of all I am glad to say that I will only be living in this apartment for 2 and a half months. The girl that I am subleasing it from was a pig. The carpets which should be tan are covered in big dark stains (probably beer). The thermostat is broken, laundry room doors broken, the refrigerator broken, the patio door broken. Those are just a few of the problems with this apartment. I hope that the next one I move in to is much better and cleaner.

Three days ago I also finally got my best friend from junior high to come up to Lubbock. Marcie had never been to Lubbock before. I think we had a pretty good time. Her camera had no juice so we didn't get to take any pictures and I never thought to buy a camera. But other than that drawback all is pretty good. We pretty much just hung out with Daniel.

Classes start next week. Not really looking forward to it, but if I didn't take summer school I would have nothing else to do but work.

I just got back from going home for 9 days. For the most part I partyed it up every night with several friends that I only get to see when I go home. I think the highlight of my trip home was getting to see my friend ADAM who I haven't seen in almost a year. I did a lot of karaoke and met some new interesting people. I spent the bulk of my time at home with my friend Ricky. We had fun, hung out at the TRAILS END, watched X Men II, and just generally had a terrific time. I love going home and hanging out with friends and of course my dad. But then I always want to get back to Lubbock as soon as possible. What can I say I love it here.

Anyways enough for tonight...
